Dziwnów

The Dziwnów commune is located in the north-western part of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, attractively integrated into the waters of the Baltic Sea, the Kamieński Lagoon and the Dziwna River. Undoubtedly, this is an important asset in choosing a holiday destination. There is a favorable climate here, the smallest temperature amplitudes in a year, short winters with a small amount of rainfall. All this makes the Dziwnów commune a mild climate with a large number of sunny days. The municipality with an area of over 4,000 inhabitants covers 3790 ha and the budget is developing very dynamically. From January 2004, Dziwnow received city rights, which made it the first youngest city in the European Union. It turns out that what was impossible before was a fact.

To spice up the stay in the commune, various entertainment events are organized – everything for a holidaymaker who, after finishing his holiday, returns home rested, full of impressions and memories. In 2006, the European Commission qualified the beaches of all villages of the Dziwnów commune to beaches that meet the highest standards. The border location makes many tourists from abroad choose the Dziwnów commune as a place of rest. Lovers of sunbathing will find here clean beaches over clean water, and the safety of the bathers is guarded by lifeguards on 6 guarded beaches, which is something to guard because the length of the shoreline is about 17.5 km. Supporters of water relaxation and fishing will find beautiful corners on the river, lake and lagoon. There are great conditions for sailing, windsurfing and canoeing. For comfortable fishing enthusiasts, you can buy fresh fish straight from the fishing boat. A well-protected breakwater port and the possibility of safe mooring at the quay of the Dziwna estuary encourage sailors to frequent visits.
